Education and examination

ABEIS is accredited by the Swedish Rock Engineering Association and has during 2020 given opportunities to conduct teaching in the rock reinforcement area in the subjects:

– SHOTCRETE

– GROUTING

– BOLTING

– CONCRETING

According to Swedish standard (AMA) requiers that the performer in hard rock in fields of grouting, shotcreting and bolting are certified.

Abeis is accredited to offers contractors, consultants, geologists and controllers to undergo such education in any of the above courses. All the courses follow the training plan prescribed by the Swedish Rock Engineering Association.

Abeis is even approved educator by Swedish concrete association to provide concrete class III for performer.The education follows the education plan prescribed by the association

Requirements for education providers and trainers.

In order to offer training courses according to the Swedish Mining Technology Association’s training plans, it is required:

Membership of the Svenska bergteknikföreningen
Approved educational material
Approved trainers

In order for a company as a training provider to be able to offer courses according to the Swedish Rock Association’s training plans, Swedish Mining Association’s training plans, it is required that these are members of the association. The application for membership takes place on the association’s website. Membership can be applied for by companies that are registered in Sweden and conduct documented activities in the rock engineering field. An educator must have the main responsibility for the implementation of the education. This must be employed by a company that is a member of the association. Other trainers who participate in the training do not have to be employed by a company that is a member of the association.

BOLTING

Project certification
Prior to the mining work, requirements are set for project certification, education and associated approved examinations. Abeis offers contractors, consultants, geologists and inspectors to undergo certification training in one or more of the above courses. All courses follow the training plans prescribed by the Swedish Mountain Engineering Association.
